We find geeks sexy. We’re also geeks who have been called sexy. We think the world should spend more time celebrating the sexiness of geeks. Past sexy geek pageants are no longer, so it was time to bring Sexiest Geeks Alive online. SGA is an unstructured gathering of thoughts, photos, and videos about, by and for geeks… because we’re sexy.
Each month we profile two of the Sexiest Geeks Alive - one Geek Grrl and one Geek Boyee. We will also be taking a monthly look at the Sexiest Geek Toys (Gear, Gadgets, and Apps) and Sexiest Geek Events (Parties, Cons. and other assemblies of Geekdom). Note that the toys and Events profiled need not be new or current to be profiled - we believe that Geek nostalgia is also worthy of notice and celebration. They don’t even have to exist (yet). We believe that the idea of a thing can be so sexy that it is worthy of great attention even while it is still just vaporware.
SGA takes the form of both a blog, where the “Sexiest Geeks Alive” can all contribute ideas and articles about the things and people that they think are sexy, and a web magazine, highlighting the people, things, and ideas worthy of special notice.
