Calley Nye is an entrepreneur and tech blogger based in Los Angeles. Originally a model and promoter in NYC, she soon realized that she had a knack for creating buzz in the NYC music scene. She started her first company, Exonerated PR, to harness that power on the web for bands, clothing lines, and makeup brands.
In May 2008, Calley started her first blog, SiliconCalley, to explore startup culture and geekdom. Her work has also been seen on TechCrunch, SGA, and several other blogs to be announced soon.
Calley is also working on several startups of her own, all to be announced shortly. 
Calley enjoys long walks on the beach, tennis, Dance Dance Revolution, martial arts, sci-fi, learning new programming languages (aka all of them), memes, pets that have Twitter accounts, and looking at Cyan Banister’s pictures on Zivity.
