Sean is not sure that he qualifies as a “Sexy Geek,” but Cyan has assured him that he does and he trusts her judgment more than his own in this regard. He is not big on labels, but the following labels have been applied to him at various times by people who seemed to mean well: anarchist, atheist, author, comedian, computer programmer, cypherpunk, entrepreneur, fool, genius, handyman, husband, iconoclast, individualist, instigator, libertarian, martial artist, mathematician, rebel, softy, and tough-guy. (We won’t go into what those who are less well meaning have called him.) He has lived in several different cities in the USA and several different countries around the world - currently residing in the New York City area. Sean is best known in geek circles as the founding CEO of Havenco - the company that set up the world’s first public datahaven on the sea-platform nation of Sealand. Sean is also a co-author (with Paul Rosenberg) of the genre defying book “God Wants You Dead,” and blogs semi-regularly at “Vera Verba” about religion, politics, and almost any other subject that might tend to piss off closed minded people. He has agreed to tone it down here - avoiding long rants about economics and morality - and to just express his funnier and sexier side.
