I, on the other hand, was the target of Tom Merrit's quote on Buzz Out Loud, "[George Lucas] does have a trademark on our childhood." Thing is, I'm old enough that I saw Star Wars in the theater when it was first released - five times! (On separate days, no less. Not just sneaking back in once it was over). I was utterly blown away and it cemented my path to geekness. Episode IV remains the only film I've ever seen that often in a movie theater. Andrew, I don't think you lose geek cred for not having seen it. Maybe you actually gain some kind of weird extra-iconoclastic points. Like an outcast among outcasts... but rest assured. We will NEVER cast you out! See it if you want to. You'll finally understand the references. Then again, the language of the series has so permeated our culture that you may not understand its significance. Of course if Cyan does have a marathon night, you know I'll be there! Oh man.
